Game tiles
Some of the 50+ outdoor texture tile graphics.
On generation each game tile has a random graphic from this list assigned as its texture.
The map will also generate some water areas – important notably for gardening purposes.
Building foundations
First foundations building concept:
Working principle was to change the texture of the tile to represent a foundation and for the sides of the foundation, mark them as wall.
After some work on adapting the wall textures to the surrounding tiles – for example making in a corner – and a lot of art and coding work – this is the first (hopefully) presentable building foundation functionality.
The Inn
Imagine an Inn, situated in a medieval fantasy world. Like in many role-playing scenarios, the inn is the starting place of many quests and adventure – and yours is no exception.
You must build and manage this inn and attract customers, adventurers – hopefully enticing them to go on a quest and bring glory to your inn.
As your inn gains in size, facilities, fame and glory, you will attract higher level adventurers who will be able to take on harder quests.
Perhaps your inn, can help slay the local dragon!
The first idea and kick off of this project was in August 2018 – of course it has been since then dropped and pick back up quite a few times…
